Lipid

  • Q Does dairy contain arachidonic acid?

A Arachidonic acid (ARA) is the most predominant long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acid in human milk, albeit at low concentrations as compared to other fatty acids. It occurs predominantly in the triglyceride form and to a lesser extent as milk fat globule membrane phospholipids.
  • Q How much arachidonic acid should I take a day?

A On the low end, as little as 100–250mg per day can be used to support gains. However, if you want the strongest muscle-building effect possible, go for the higher end of the range (750–1,500mg daily). Take this 45 minutes before your workouts for eight weeks, and then take an equal break.
  • Q Are there any side effects from taking ARA?

A Arachidonic acid (AA) supplementation does not seem to cause any side effects or adverse events. In all the clinical studies mentioned, there have been no reports of any unexpected effects on any of the participants
  • Q Many people wonder if DHA is the same as Omega-3?What Omega-3 includes?

A There are three main types of omega-3 fatty acids: EPA, DHA, and ALA. DHA is a type of omega-3.
  • Q What storage temperature of the supplement is recommended by you as a raw material manufacturer?

    A
After making capsules,  it only needs to be sealed and stored in a cool and dry place. There is no need to store it at -18 degrees Celsius.

  • Q We are going to produce a food supplement based on this raw material in soft vegetarian capsules. What is the shelf life of the final product? And how is it calculated? I see that this oil is quite demanding on storage.

    A
Confirm the shelf life of your capsules need to be determined by accelerated experiments.

You must need to add other ingredients (such as Vitamin E, Vitamin C...), the final Shelf life of the capsules is determined by all the ingredients you add and processing technic. You can do an accelerated experiment and calculate the shelf life as mentioned below in my Stability test report.

  • Q What is the main difference between winterized and non-winterized oil?

    A
Winterized oil has one more winterizing process than unwinterized oil.

Winterized oil has better clarity, higher purity, and better stability, making it suitable for making softgel capsules, which can improve the appearance of the soft vegetarian capsules.

Non-winterized oil is cheaper than Winterized oil, and is suitable for use in beverages, edible oil and powdered form, such as adding to infant formula .
