Product Description
D-Biotin, commerically called as Biotin according to EP/BP/USP, also known as vitamin H or B7, is a B-complex vitamin（Water-Soluble vitamins）. Biotin is used as a growth factor in mammalian cell culture as well as having numerous immunological purification roles in avidin/streptavidin-biotin binding mechanisms. Biotin is a cofactor in the metabolism of fatty acids and leucine, and it plays a role in gluconeogenesis. It is necessary for the synthesis of vitamin C and is indispensable for the normal metabolism of fats and proteins.
